Dr Lenke was able to diagnose my condition when no one else could after over a year of visiting other physicians. In one visit he was able to significantly change my life with changing my medications by truly listening to my concerns. I could never thank him enough.

I was diagnosed with MS 37 years ago with multiple other physical and mental health issues.
Dr. Lencke is the first neurologist to give me answers and the first neurologist to say "this is the way it is." I needed answers and a direction.
Dr. Lencke gave me that. Sometimes it's hard to hear things. if you are ready to hear, then Dr Lencke may just be right for you.
He was for me.
Dr.Lencke always seems concerned about my problems. And discusses my concerns with me.

Long wait time both in the lobby and patient room. Staff was nice. Dr seemed as he was in a hurry. He did not seem prepared when he entered room. Asked questions that I had put on the pages of info required for me to fill out.

My 1st visit with Dr. Lencke he was very welcoming seem he had review my file didn’t seem to have any concerns with what he reviewed. Did the basic reflexes test had me walk. Did not share any need for tests did give me a follow up visit. Did offer to help me be able to get my migraine medication that is of no risk with my current medications which is very gracious & highly appreciated & offered follow up Thank You so much. I would highly recommend he to others.

Dr. Lencke provides comprehensive care in the evaluation, monitoring, prevention and treatment of cognitive and general neurologic disorders.
Expertise
Dr. Lencke is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the Columbia Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Association, and the South Carolina Neurological Association. He previously served as president of the South Carolina Neurological Association. In addition to his professional affiliations, Dr. Lencke has more than 25 years of experience in adult neurology, including chronic neurologic disorders and diagnostic studies. He most recently treated patients at The South Carolina Neurological Clinic in Columbia.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, Mark K. Lencke, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He also completed his internal medicine internship and adult neurology residency at the Medical College of Georgia.
