Dr. Askins is a very caring doctor, he listens to how I feel, assesses the situation, and gives any options available. We discuss the options and go with what's best for the situation. A doctor that listens is very important, some patients need that more than anything. My health problems can't yet be treated or solved and listening helps me more than anything.

A native of Johnsonville, South Carolina, Benjamin J. Askins, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed a family practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina.
