I have recommended Dr Beard and all the other doctors in this practice to anyone and everyone I have spoken with for years now. I come from Florence which is almost 100 miles from my home to see the doctors in this practice for my achilles tendon surgery and now just in February my total knee replacement surgery with Dr. Beard. I am most satisfied with both surgeries and doctors. I would not go anywhere else for my orthopedic care. They go above and beyond with their service with their knowledge their ability and I recommend them to anyone and everyone I talk to about any kind of orthopedic care.

I tell every single person about the doctors in this practice. How they are the best doctors and they should come to this practice if they have to get the best care. About Dr. Beard
After graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in religion from Princeton University, Randy Beard, MD, earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his academic performance and commitment to compassionate care.
Dr. Beard then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where he received the department’s highest award for surgical performance for three consecutive years. He went on to complete the prestigious Otto E. Aufranc Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Beard is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He previously served as chief of Orthopaedics at Lexington Medical Center, medical director of Lexington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and medical director of the Lexington Medical Center Total Joint Program, overseeing its establishment as a DNV Center of Excellence for hip and knee replacements.
