Dr. Kennedy provides care for acute illnesses and injuries at Lexington Medical Center’s Emergency department.Background
Dr. Kennedy earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, followed by her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi, where she was chief resident.
Dr. Kennedy’s extensive volunteer experience includes a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic, equine therapy coaching for children with special needs, and a partnership program at the University of Arkansas to provide supplemental health care to at-risk patients. She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
