About Dr. Dayrit

Dr. Dayrit offers a full range of services in the diagnosis and treatment of adult acute and chronic lung disease, critical-care and sleep medicine.

Expertise

Dr. Dayrit has extensive experience providing pulmonary, internal medicine and critical care procedures, including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, pulmonary artery catheterization, central line placements, endotracheal intubation and arterial line placement, as well as interpretation and treatment of a variety of sleep disorders. He previously served as medical director of Critical Care Services at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, South Carolina, and served as director of Cardiopulmonary Services and medical director of Intensive Care Unit at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, South Carolina.

Background

Specializing in internal medicine, critical care, pulmonary and sleep medicine, Dr. Dayrit graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Philippines and earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines, Manila. After finishing a rotating internship at U.P. Philippine General Hospital in Manila, Dr. Dayrit completed an internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He then followed this training with a critical care and pulmonary fellowship there.
