I grew up in Columbia and I've never used Lexington medical Center, but this has been one of the best experiences I've ever had and I will travel across the bridge to use their services as often as I can now! Dr. Rac took time to see me when I was experiencing the worse pain I've ever experienced due to a kidney stone. He is a rock star as far as I'm concerned!

Ive only met two specialists at lexington medical that give a crap and this doctor is one. He chats with me until my concerns and understanding are met. He explained to me in plain english. He showed his feelings and concerns unlike most specialist robots that don't even look at you, or worse the one?s that don't even touch the patient and tell you you're fine and send you on your way. This doctor is not in it for the money, he is in it because he cares. A real diamond in the rough. Lexington medical needs more doctors like this man.

About Dr. Rac
Dr. Rac provides comprehensive urologic care and treatments for urologic conditions.
Expertise
During his surgical urologic oncology fellowship, Dr. Rac received
comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of urologic
malignancies and gained advanced expertise in the multidisciplinary
management of urologic cancers, including radiation oncology, medical
oncology, urologic imaging and pathology, as well as extensive
experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
Background
Dr. Rac graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University
Calhoun Honors College in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s
degree in bioengineering and biomaterials. He then earned his medical
degree, graduating with honors, from the Medical University of South
Carolina in Charleston and completed his urology residency at MUSC as
well, serving as chief resident. He went on to complete a surgical
urologic oncology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in
Maywood, Illinois.
Leadership
Dr. Rac sits on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Urological
Association and is a member of the American Medical Association, the
American Urological Association, the Biomedical Engineering Society and
the South Carolina Medical Association.
Medical Research
Dr. Rac has co-authored and presented more than 50 peer-reviewed journal
articles, textbook chapters, podium and poster presentations, abstracts
and grand round presentations, and currently serves as an ad hoc
reviewer for The Journal of Urology. For his commitment to
research, Avant-Garde Health named him a Healthcare Research All Star,
which recognizes the top 5% in publishing leading-edge research in
urology.
